Shared expedition kit

You will need all of the following items, but these can usually be shared amongst more than one person to help reduce your pack weight.

Matches

  • You will need matches to light your cooking stove (Trangia). Make sure you place them in a waterproof bag or container

Washing up

  • Sponge, scourer and washing up liquid. You will only need a small amount of washing up liquid so place some in a suitable container before you leave. Travel size bottles of shampoo are good for this purpose.
